Coffee at the Kaʻū Coffee Festival Ho'olaulea on Saturday.
Members of the Kaʻū Coffee Growers Cooperative said some 5,000 people attended the all day event that featured coffee tasing, entertainment, food and community group presentations at Pāhala Community Center.
A presentation was made to Edmund C. Olson, thanking the "Founder of Kaʻū Coffee Mill for his unwavering support of the annual Kaʻū Coffee Festival and his contributions to economic development, community service and preservation of cultural and environmental resources in the District of Kaʻū."
